Model: WD30EZRX-00DC0B0 Dell Studio XPS 9100ģTB capacity bios: AMI/Dell A04, AMI v02.67 Does this mean I cannot use a drive with capacity higher than 2TB? Can I get a bios update that supports the higher capacity, without having to pay for it? The bios version is the most recent update (dated 20011) from Dell's Drivers and Downdloads for the Studio XPS 9100. It sees the drive as 801.6GB, therefore windows sees the drive as 746GB. I purchased & installed a Western Digital 3TB drive, but the drive shows up as 746GB in Administrative Tools -> Computer Management -> Disk Management. ![]()
